A Wonderful Start to 2026 with Our First Quiz Night

On Monday 9 February, we were delighted to host our first quiz night of 2026 — and what a fantastic evening it was.

Twelve teams joined us for a fun and friendly night of competition, helping to raise over £400 in support of our Ferring Dementia Hive. These funds will directly support people living with dementia, along with their families and carers, here in our local community.

After a closely contested quiz, The Sandy Shores were crowned our first winners of the year, proudly taking home the trophy. One of the Goring Road Carpet Centre teams received our much-loved consolation prize — the famous lidded dish — which was received in great spirit!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the evening and helped make it such a success. In particular, we would like to thank:

• Gareth Cornford and Stephen Edwards from Goring Hall Hospital for serving as excellent quiz masters
• Attach A Tag for providing the trophy and engraving it after each quiz
