An Inspiring Evening at the Launch of With You in the Moment

Sally and Helen recently enjoyed a lovely evening at Brooklands Café in Lancing for the launch and signing of a new book by Marcus Batterbury, With You in the Moment.

The event brought together members of the local community to celebrate the publication of Marcus’s book, which shares a heartfelt and thoughtful message about living alongside dementia. The message Marcus shared on the evening was simple but powerful: dementia is only a very small part of a person — it is the person themselves who matters most.

It was an inspiring reminder of the importance of compassion, understanding and connection — values that sit at the heart of everything we do at Beehive Care.

We were also deeply touched to hear that Marcus is generously donating £1 from every book sold to The Community Dementia Hive Lancing, helping to support the work we do for people living with dementia, their families and carers in our local community.
