Festive cheer with parties and crafts at Lancing Hive
December has been full of festive cheer at Lancing Beehive, with a wonderful programme of Christmas events bringing people living with dementia and their carers together to celebrate the season. From our relaxed Christmas Craft afternoon with Adur Voluntary Action, where guests enjoyed card-making, refreshments and good company, to a beautiful Christmas Carol Concert at St Symphorian’s Church in partnership with Beehive and The Alzheimer’s Society, the month has been all about connection and community.

Our Lancing Beehive Christmas Parties on 18th and 19th December were a real highlight, featuring live music from the fantastic The Chalkhill Blue. There were smiles all round including a very special moment captured in the photos, showing one of our lovely service users singing along with the band. A huge thank you also goes to Bakeout in Lancing for generously donating 60 delicious mince pies, which were very much enjoyed by everyone and helped make the celebrations extra special.
