A week to remember with creativity and fun

What an amazing week it has been for Beehive Care’s Dementia Services! Our teams, volunteers, and community partners came together to create a series of joyful, creative, and active experiences for everyone involved.

We began the week with Bee Social, where our talented volunteer, David Hull, led a painting session. Participants had a wonderful time creating seagull-inspired masterpieces, filling the room with colour, creativity, and laughter.

Next, our Bee Active Service visited our Residential Home, Cornwell House, for an unforgettable performance by the fabulous Chi Chi Revolver – Hula Hooper. The energy and entertainment brought smiles to everyone’s faces and created memories that will last long after the day itself.

Finally, our D Café visitors enjoyed an outing to Cycall Adapted Cycling at Brooklands Park. With the wind in their hair and plenty of excitement, they raced around the park using the specially adapted bikes—an inclusive, fun-filled experience that captured the spirit of independence and adventure.

This week was a shining example of what happens when community, creativity, and care come together. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, from our volunteers to our performers and partners, for making these events possible.

Together, we are continuing to show that life with dementia can be vibrant, social, and full of joy. Please contact us if you wish to find out more about our Worthing and Lancing services.
