A year ago, we proudly opened our second Community Dementia Hive in Lancing, creating a welcoming space where people living with dementia, their families, and carers could come together for support, friendship, and meaningful activities.

To celebrate the Lancing Hive’s first anniversary and mark a wonderful year of supporting those affected by dementia, we hosted a special birthday celebration at Lancing Parish Hall. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on everything the Hive has achieved over the past 12 months and to thank everyone who has helped make it such a welcoming and successful community.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet, live entertainment from a talented singer, and plenty of dancing, laughter, and conversation throughout the afternoon. The hall was filled with smiles as members, volunteers, carers, and supporters came together to celebrate this important milestone and the friendships that have flourished over the past year.
